Counselling
Trauma counseling remains the most important program our work here at Solace Ministries. We continue to rejoice as we recall the healings we have observed. Many new “cases” still come from very long distances needing to be listened to and comforted.
Throughout the country people are seeing the way lives have been changed through Solace Ministries. It is no question that people come to us having experienced varied amounts of trauma, but as we listen to them we see their hearts begin to soften.
We believe that true healing can only come through Jesus Christ. As we see people being changed, we know it is only because of Christ that they are moving forward.
As a result of our trauma counseling program, there are requests from other parts of the country for new groups or communities of Solace Ministries to be started. Also, young people who have been healed are now involved in bringing the message of hope and comfort to other groups in the country.
The number of families helped has reached 5,700. The number of individuals is thus 4 times that number. Through this counseling work, thousands have a restored desire to live. Once again we praise God because it is He who restores this hope by giving true comfort, and it is He who also gives life.
